When we first considered purchasing an avocado ranch, we didn't know the first thing about avocados. I can't say we know much more now, but we continue to pick up tidbits of information and want to share it with others.

Education
Back when we lived on the east coast, there was a retail clothing chain that advertised... "an educated customer is our best customer". I know that the more we learn about avocados, the more we appreciate them as a fruit. So, as you can see, this educational webspace is not really free... it is part of an elaborate scheme to get you to eat more avocados which will in turn benefit us and our neighbors.
